Hobby knife with a finger loop for more precise and delicate tasks. It was inspired by one I saw on Amazon but designed it from scratch/remixed it from the Inexacto Hobby Knife.

Print the modified sleeve if the blade is too loose. It's been lengthened to catch the blade edges and provide more stability.

Disclaimer: Obviously hobby blades are sharp, be careful!

Please post your prints! I'd love to see them!

4/9/2021: Added a modified sleeve for any slippery blades. Successfully test printed the 4-way holder

Print Settings

Printer brand: Creality

Printer: Ender 3

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2

Infill: 20% and 100% (Knife holder part)

Filament brand: Hatchbox

Filament color: Orange

Filament material: PLA

Notes: I used a brim, 3-4 shells, 20% infill (100% for the knife holder part)

Note: For the knife holder part it's probably best to use 4 shells and bump up the infill (possibly best to 100%). Especially if you want to tighten it down a lot.

Hobby_Knife_Holder.stl and Hobby_Knife_Sleeve.stl are from the original Inexacto hobby knife

I didn't have difficulty with mine but one of the makes mentioned difficulty getting the threads to work until printing it in this orientation.
