The XL pinball machine is an awesome machine to print and I really enjoyed making it. The fact that you need no supports, no glue and absolutely no extra materials is fantastic and a testament for the amount of thought that got put into this.
It's extremely easy to assemble / disassemble. The trickiest part would be the counter mechanism, but everything else I'm sure could be done by children.

As for the gameplay itself: unfortunately there are quite a few places the ball gets stuck. Most notably when you print the bridge ramp, the counter and the back ramps. Whenever you launch the ball, there are 3 slots at the back the ball can return through, the left 2 of those slots will always get the ball stuck in the corner between the counter and the bridge ramp. I've also managed to get the ball lodged into the counting mechanism of the counter a couple of times.
It also can get stuck in the holes of the playing field, however there are flush mount screw you can print to prevent that. Although plugging all the holes is a pain. It doesn't happen too often luckily.
The counter itself is a bit too flimsy, causing it to count a bit too inaccurate for what I'd like. The fact that it counts however is really cool on it's own.
I also found the end result feeling rather static. Specifically I was missing something that spins. Luckily the concept of this pinball allows for modification and I took upon myself to design a custom spinner based on a 608ZZ bearing to give playfield a more dynamic feel.

Overall it's a model with a lot of potential and I hope more people will publish new gameplay elements for it allowing for more customisability.
Score:
Concept: 5*
Potential: 5*
Gameplay execution: 4*
Easy of print: 5*
Value for money: 4*
Filament usage printing everything at 10% gyroid infill (except the backboard at 5%): 2930 grams, so call it +- 3kg.

Important note: The back ramp for the XL version is currently missing (owner is aware, will be fixed). This means you're launching your balls out the back. I got it through Kickstarter which allowed me to use the back-ramp from the regular version (same size). But this should get rectified.
