Bambu Lab recently announced its newest 3D printer, the Bambu Lab A1, which is poised to secure their position as the number one 3D printer manufacturer. They have now produced 3D printers suitable for almost all levels of 3D printing: beginner (Bambu Lab A1 Mini), hobbyist (Bambu Lab P1S), and professional (Bambu Lab X1-Carbon and Bambu Lab XE). On top of that, they now have various models of 3D printers designed to essentially crush all competition. The only type of 3D printer they have yet to create is a large-format, high-speed model, which is likely to be their next offering.
The Bambu Lab A1 | What do we know so far?
This brand new Bambu Lab 3D printer is a mid-sized bed-slinger with a similar form factor to the A1 Mini, its 'little brother'. It has a build volume of 256mm x 256mm x 256mm, which is a nod to the binary numbering system and appeals to computer geeks. It features the same 'purge-flinger' as the Bambu Lab A1 Mini and offers ultra high-speed 3D printing, along with custom silent stepper motor drivers from Bambu Lab.

Bambu Lab A1 Specs:
- 256mm x 256mm x 256mm Build Volume
- Bed-Slinger (and Purge-Flinger)
- High-Speed Silent Stepper Motor Drivers
- No Enclosure
- Multi-Color 3D Printing with the AMS Lite.
When will the Bambu Lab A1 be available?
Bambu Lab cannot make 3D printers fast enough to keep up with demand. In fact, as of late 2023, it is still difficult to get your hands on a Bambu Lab A1 Mini. Our best guess is the Bambu Lab A1 will most likely be available in Q1 of 2024.
How much will the Bambu Lab A1 cost?
With the Bambu Lab A1 Mini coming in at $299 (without the AMS Lite), we expect the Bambu Lab A1 to be priced at $399 to $450 USD (without the AMS Lite).
(sound on!)

It's never not interesting for the "A1 series" to watch my BIG "A1 mini Review" on YouTube...
